Introducing: Stationary

Life’s ironic.

For the past few days, I have been running over the concept of this article in my mind time and time again. And as I have been running over the concept of this article time and time again, I have found myself stuck. It was like quicksand: the harder I would fight and think, the more stuck I would become. I just couldn’t see the way forward.

Of course, this article isn’t the only thing I’ve been stuck in during my seventeen years of life. At other times, I have felt stuck at a certain musical level. I’ve felt stuck on a chemistry problem. I’ve felt stuck in my spiritual life. There have been times where feeling stuck has been a part of my daily routine. I so badly want to move forward, so badly desire to improve in these various areas, but I feel like I can’t.

Do you ever feel this way? Have you ever felt… stationary? Have you ever felt stuck in school? In ministry? At home?

We will be answering all of these questions and many more over the course of the next few weeks at Reckless Abandon Ministries. Stay tuned, and check in regularly for our articles this month. “Stationary” is not a series you want to miss.
