Travis Farr – President

Hey there! My name is Travis, and I’m the President of Reckless Abandon Ministries. I’m a missionary kid living in Johannesburg, South Africa. I’m the oldest of six children; the three oldest siblings being biological siblings and the youngest two adopted. I’m extremely passionate about ministry, and I have a strong desire to serve God with everything that is in me. I am so excited about what God has been doing through this ministry since it’s founding in February of 2015. Reckless Abandon Ministries has had a huge impact on my life, in my heart, and I pray that you will face that same conviction. I pray that, through the articles on the blog, you will feel challenged to be something different, to live radically, and to be completely sold out for Christ.

Brianna Howard

My name is Brianna Howard and I am the editor and one of the leadership team members for Reckless Abandon Ministries. I am an aspiring author from Grand Rapids, Michigan and I enjoy writing, reading, photography, and long walks to get coffee. I am far from perfect, but firmly believe that God uses me through my brokenness and that my sin is no match for His grace. As a leader, I strive to connect well with others as we press into Christ together. It is my desire to challenge and encourage those around me, to learn and grow alongside them, and to be part of a generation that is unashamed of the gospel. It is my prayer that, through this ministry, you would join me in this endeavor.

AJ Timberlake

Heya! My name is AJ Timberlake, I am from South Africa and I lead the book review and admin teams at Reckless Abandon. I love to read, write and combine the two for the glory of God. I am currently working towards my bachelor’s degree in Theology with a focus in counseling. I also au pair for my baby cousins and help with admin at my church’s youth group. Some other random (but important) facts about me: I like to collect sunglasses and Soviet sneakers in different colors, I am a slight perfectionist, I play the flute, my favorite color is purple and my favourite Bible verse is 1 Corinthians 10:31. I am not sure where God is leading me at this point but have a passion for teen ministry and am so excited to be part of a ministry that continues to grow beyond my wildest imagination. I hope to see young men and women come to a place where they give their lives to serving and glorify Christ in every area of their lives knowing that His plan is better than anything they could think or dream of for themselves.

Austin Macnamara

Hey there! I’m Austin Macnamara, and I’m a member of the leadership team here at Reckless Abandon. I’m a senior at Cedarville University (Ohio) studying theology and philosophy, but my 3 siblings (Oldest child…woot :D) and parents just moved from New York to Kentucky.  I love music. Playing, singing, listening, producing, recording…it doesn’t really matter. I’ve got a passion for deep thinking, writing, sports (LET’S GO CUBS), adventure, and exploring just about anything. Whether it’s the cornfields of Ohio (wahoo!) or trotting around Europe, I can’t wait to get out and see the world and all its amazing people and cultures. But enough of the boring stuff, what you really need to know is that my favorite colors are orange and blue, that I love thunderstorms, and stargazing. Oh, and last, but probably most important…our name – “Reckless Abandon” pretty much sums up how I want to live my life. Jesus Christ gave everything for me, so how can I not follow him with a relentless pursuit, offering Him my all? That’s where I stand. That’s our mission here at RA. I hope you’ll come along with us for the ride!

Kendal Percimoney

Hey! My name is Kendal, and I’m Head of the Photography and Design teams here at RA. I was brought up in a Christian family in South Africa, and I have a passion for sharing His word through music and friendship. I play guitar, piano, program, video edit, design and write; a plethora of talents, and I pray God will use them for his will. I am excited about the future of this organization, and I pray it will continue to be a blessing in other people’s lives.
